I love this simplicity of the white and grey in this home. The greenery just adds to the simple beauty here- sometimes I wonder if we try to hard on the exteriors when it could be so simple and so beautiful.

My parents had a white house with a grey tiled roof, overlooking the blue Pacific in Sydney. It was isolated in the middle of a park, and I used to love walking down the hill to see all that blue and green with a sturdy little white cottage glowing in the afternoon sun...

I think you may be right! Dead on! Spot on! Whatever you want to say! This is beautiful and I would love to have this home! In fact, I bet we try to hard on the exteriors of ourselves as well! Oh, but that's another post for another day! LOVED this! The greenery adds just the perfect touch!
What a beautiful house... we've just finished building a New England style home and opted for a pale vanilla colour with a grey slate roof... wonder whether we should have gone for white!
